Vision-Mission-Goals Vision: The LRC as the learning center and the academic support system of HCDC, aspires to provide exemplary services and material resources that promote and enhance the teaching-learning process. It aims to acquire, develop, organize, and maintain resources that support the academic excellence of current and incoming curricular programs of HCDC. It provides relevant and quality services for the attainment of the vision, mission and goals of the institution. Mission: The HCDC LRC-mission is to provide print, non-print material resources, electronic access, quality library and information services, responsive to the needs of the times that would answer to the instructional and information needs of the academic community. Goals: Supports the academic excellence of all the colleges by the acquisition, organization and maintenance of resources in varied formats (print, non-print, and electronic resources) necessary for the present and incoming instructional programs; Provides quality library and information services that encourages learning and research that would enriched the educational, spiritual, psychological and cultural teaching-learning process; Promotes the balance interest among the students in the use of print, non-print and access of electronic resources; Updates linkages with other educational institutions to share resources, facilities and services among the members; Upgrades knowledge and experiences for continuous learning and growth among the members of the staff, as a vital resource, avails of the opportunities for personal and professional growth; Collaborates with users, for the development of LRC services, facilities and collections.(http://www.hcdc.edu.ph/lrc-vision-mission-and-goals/)
